I don't know if this is what you were looking for, but there are actually many different translations for "love" that the English language has generalized into one word.There is the materialistic love, which is simply the basic bond between people and the things that give them enjoyment.There is brotherly love, which is a bond of friendship between two people.There is physical attraction, basically your body's natural desire to reproduce.Finally, there is a love of devotion, in which you would do almost anything for the other person, even die.True love, as with a married couple, ideally combines all of these elements of love (excluding the first) in a relationship.
